Saha Chittis

Our Saha Chitti collection is perfect for the pre-wedding 'Saha Chitti' ceremony. The traditional custom calls for the bride's family to officially invite the groom's family to the formalisation of the marriage - commencing all the preparations for the wedding day. 

Traditionally, the bride's family gifts the Saha Chitti to the groom's family a week before the wedding as the turn around for weddings were much quicker - usually within a matter of days. However, the Saha Chitti is gifted once the preparations are set in-place and is to honour the traditional custom as opposed to mark the start of preparations.
